Returns Policy
All items are thoroughly inspected prior to dispatch, if an item is damaged during delivery please contact us immediately upon receipt. If you're not completely satisfied with any purchase we will gladly exchange it for another product or refund.
All refunds are subject to a re-stocking fee of 10% of the price you have paid for your order. Our postal charge of £2.95 is not refundable. The re-stocking fee and postal charge is applicable in all cases except were the goods are found to be faulty upon receipt or the incorrect size is sent by us.
Unfortunately we have no direct control over a postal companies delivery times especially during any industrial action and as such we can only offer guidelines as to delivery times. We can’t be held responsible for perceived late delivery including those orders placed for Halloween or Christmas periods. Please give yourself plenty of time to order and receive your required item or use the guaranteed express delivery options available as we cannot offer refunds due to late delivery unless Fancy Dress Retail have caused the delay by not operating within our terms.
Returning The Goods
Customers have 7 days from receipt of delivery to return unwanted items for a refund. Products must be in a resaleable condition when returned. They must include all items that came with the costume and be re-packed in the manner that you would expect to receive them and returned in the full original packaging. Packaging should not be folded in order to post them back as a smaller package. As detailed in the distance selling regulations we are not able to accept returns on underwear, tights, wigs/facial hair and makeup products under any circumstances.
Please note: All returned items will be inspected for signs of deliberate sabotage or wilful neglect. Should we deem any fault to be a result of a customer's actions, then a refund will not be processed and any return postage costs will be the responsibility of the customer should they wish the item to be returned to them.
We recommend you return the item(s) in the packaging they arrived in using Royal Mail's recorded delivery service which is fully traceable, as we cannot be held responsible for items that go amiss in the post. Please be aware that proof of posting is not a proof of delivery. Postage costs incured to return any product is the responsibilty of the customer.
We will email you within 1 working day to confirm a refund will be made. You must download and print the returns form HERE, complete all sections and return it along with your order so that we can process your refund.
Please don't send back parcels without a completed returns form, it is almost impossible to trace which returned order relates to which costumer unless you do so and will only delay your refund being processed.

Exchanges
Exchanges are welcome however you must pay an additional nominal postage charge of £2.95 for us to re-send another costume. Once we have received your return and checked the item(s) we will send out the costume you want to exchange it for. You will have to pay the difference in price between the two costumes if this is applicable. Please call to make your payment if applicable.
Wrong Size
If we send you the wrong size in error then please let us know as soon as you receive your costume and we will either refund or exchange the product for the correct size. When we receive your costume back as per the returns policy above we will refund the total cost that you have paid for the costume and any reasonable postal cost you incur up to a maximum of £2.95 or re-send another new costume of the correct size to you.
If we have fulfilled your order correctly but you have ordered the wrong size. We will still replace your costume for another size (if available) as soon as we receive the original costume back as per the returns procedure above. All costs incurred for posting the costume back to us are payable by you. In addition, a nominal postage charge of £2.95 will be payable for us to re-send another size. If you require a refund to be made we will refund less our 10 percent re-stocking charge and your original postage costs.
Please note: we are not responsible for delivery charges incurred when returning or exchanging items unless it is our fault.
