Terms and Conditions
Payment and postage terms may vary on individual items.
Instruments are sent via courier, for insured, guaranteed delivery, with a next day option (PF24) available.
We will do our best to deliver within the specified timescale: As such we recommend using 2nd class post or Parcelforce 48, since if there is an issue we can automatically upgrade your postage to 1st class (or PF24 courier service).
Most listings set this as the default option, and most customers find this extremely fast service as is.
Both Post and Courier items are collected daily onsite.
Orders placed before mid-day will be processed same working day.
Insurance is automatic on all courier deliveries, and is charged at near cost for all postal deliveries.
We currently charge 68p for UK Recorded service, and £3.50 for International Signed-For service, which both carry a £30 insurance. As a matter of course we collect proof of posting on all items. | |

| Postage & packaging |
|
Buyer pays shipping. Minor charges will be added to pay for packaging materials, printing etc., although these will be kept to a minimum.
Multiple items will be dispatched together where possible, and postage will be upgraded or refunded as appropriate.
Large consignments will be sent via courier at fixed costs.

| Customer service & return policy |
|
We will refund item cost upon return of an unused item. Postage costs will be lost.
For most CD & DVD items this means the shrink wrap must be intact, and for instruments and books there must be no signs of wear or use.
We will refund the both item and postage incurred where an item is delivered not-as-described: this includes instruments being play-ready.
We do not accept returns or refunds without prior consultation: please email first to avoid dissapointment.

| Instrument guarantee |

We guarantee all instruments for one whole year, and deliver them play-ready.
As such, some instruments will be briefly play-tested before dispatch to ensure correct tuning. Please ask if you wish to ensure this service is undertaken before dispatch.
The spirit of the guarantee is to keep customers happy using MJB instruments, and all reasonable steps are undertaken with that in mind.
