We pack securely to avoid damage in post, and in event of damage have proof of post to ensure successful claim. Recently ebayer bought an item, destroyed packing on arrival and then found some water damage. Because packing was destroyed we were unable to make a compensation claim. We replaced item, but in future can only replace if original packing is RETAINED as it is unfair that we have to stand the loss as evidence destroyed.
