SHOP POLICIES - RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Hi, you've reached the page where I put your mind at ease!
If in the unlikely event that an item is damaged or lost, be assured that Im a 'customer friendly' shop and will do what I would like to be done in your situation. Communication is the key-any problem just let me know.
To comply with EBAY guidelines all items are now 14 day return not 7 as before, we are getting around to changing our listings but as some are automatically re-listed this is taking a while so please dis-regard any listings stating 7 day return policy, its now 14days! You do have to inform us within 7 working days of receipt though...see below in the refunds and returns section.
DAMAGED IN THE POST: Unfortunately should an item be subject to rough handling and arrive damaged, let me know straight away and I will send out a replacement (once it is received back here)if it is a replaceable item. Please retain the packaging - I will need this a proof to make a claim and will let you know how to return the item and package without cost to you. If not a replaceable item, I will offer you a refund or allow the amount involved to be used in credit against another item.
LOST IN TRANSIT: Im known for posting at the next available posting day after payment is received, if you feel the item is taking longer than expected please contact me to check postage date. I will always send a replacement if the expected time for delivery has been exceeded, this is a very rare occurrance and I take it as my responsibility to chase up the problem with the post office not leave it to you. The royal mail will always follow up lost items so your co-operation is required to help with any subsequent investigation, this may mean completing a signed declaration of non-receipt of an item.
Unfortunately because sometimes people report items not received but they are in fact uncollected from the post office, we have to ask you to give us your post office number so we can try and locate a parcel first. All uncollected and undeliverable items get returned to us marked as such so we do know if thats what happened eventually. If an item is returned to us marked as uncollected by the royal mail and the buyer wants it re-sent, then the cost of re-delivery is required from the buyer.
My feedback system is, that if for some reason Ive not seen feedback left indicating all is well, an automated reminder goes off just to check the item has arrived and you are happy, once left , your feedback is then left, this helps me check arrival has occurred.
REFUNDS and RETURNS: should you decide for some reason that you would like to cancel your purchase and have a refund, please send me an ebay message or write to E-Jay Trading Unit 7 650 Great Cambridge Road Enfield EN13RN outlining the reason in writing within 7 working days of receipt of the item and put the item back in the post with 'Return to Sender' on the packaging. Please do this within 14 days of receiving item. Any problems at all that you would like to talk about in person call 07956 920160. Your Distance Selling Regulation rights are of course adhered to when purchasing from us.
