Distance Selling Regulations

This paragraph sets out those items required pursuant to the EC Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 97/7) as ratified by the Consumer Protection (Contracts Concluded by Means of Distance Communications) Regulations 2000.

• Identity: The supplier of any goods purchased pursuant to the Terms and Conditions is "CEM Day Ltd".
• Description of Goods: The goods sold pursuant to these Regulations comprise items selected from those available on this E-bay store.
• Price: The price of goods purchased via this Website, by post, by telephone or by fax shall be the price advertised in the price list on this Web site at the time of purchase together with Value Added Tax and any other relevant tax thereon at prevailing rates at that time. Specific other product quantities, volume or combinations can be pre-arranged, and the price of the goods in this case will be agreed prior to acceptance of the order.
• Delivery Costs: Goods are delivered by Fedex UK with the delivery charge being dependent largely on weight. The delivery charge for each item is displayed on the listing. Should you wish to collect your order from one of our branches, please advise on checkout. No delivery charge will be raised when goods are collected but we do require prior notification as to the location of the branch from which you would like to collect your order.
• Payment: Payment for any goods purchased pursuant to these terms must be made at the time of placing the order and prior to delivery.
• Cancellation: In accordance with the Regulations and in certain circumstances you have a right of cancellation within seven days of purchase.

• 1. Payment and Delivery
  1.1 Payment must be made in full for all goods before delivery or collection.
  1.2 Non-payment of goods purchased from our E-bay store will be reported to E-bay as a ‘non-payer’.
• 2. Product Specifications
  2.1 CEM Day Ltd reserves the right to withdraw items from sale from E-bay without prior notice if sold elsewhere.
  2.2 CEM Day Ltd will not accept liability for extra costs incurred as a result of the customer choosing, installing or using products purchased from our E-bay store.
• 3. Guarantee
  3.1 In addition to your statutory rights, we guarantee all products for 14 days.
• 3.2 This guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear; neglect; abuse or misuse of the product; loss or damage, fire, smoke, lightning, sunlight, weather, rusting, corrosion, theft, or explosion; accidental damage or consequential loss.
  3.3 Product ownership and Guarantees may not be transferred to any other person.
• 4. Claims
  4.1 In the event of a claim occurring within 12 months of the date of delivery, please contact us using the contact details displayed on this Web site.
  4.2 We will arrange to examine the product, and attempt to rectify any fault. We will replace free of charge or refund the cost of a defective item. Should the item no longer be available, a replacement that is similar will be provided if available.
  4.3 Should the product prove unsuitable for any reason, we will refund the cost of the product if a claim is made within 30 days. This only applies to products bought directly from CEM Day Ltd.
