We use first class recorded delivery within UK, for international - airmail. We intent to ship next working day, if payment has been made by PAYPAL, otherwise shipment is made after cheque is cleared. Insurance is optional, but recommended for valuable items. If the INSURANCE option has not been selected, items shipped at the buyers risk. If uninsured item is lost, we will provide Certificate of Posting and it will be buyers responsibility to make a claim from Post Office.
