| | | Frequently Asked Questions | | | Q: What is your return policy? | | | A: For Buy It Now Items, 14 days. Before returning an item please contact me, advising me of your problem. | | Q: Do you combine shipping? | | | A: Yes, I will always combine shipping where possible. However, due to insurance requirements on large, valuable packages, sometimes it will work out more economical to send items separately - especially for overseas. | | Q: When can I expect my order to arrive? | | | A: Special Delivery Items (UK) are guaranteed to arrive the next working day. However, in spite of the guarantee, on rare occasions the mail can be delayed. Items shipped to the USA and Australia usually take at least one week to arrive. Items shipped to Europe, from 3 days. Please note however, for some unknown reason, some items take far longer. | | Q: How much is the Shipping and Handling Charge? | | | A: I do not charge for handling. But remember, I still have to pay for packaging materials, such as padded envelopes, board-backed envelopes and postal tubes, so sometimes a small charge is added on to the actual postage. | | Q: Do you ship internationally? | | | A: Yes, I ship worldwide. | | Q: Why is the UK postal charge for Jewellery higher than other items? | | | A: For posting jewellery, Special Delivery is essential. Royal Mail will only cover any type of jewellery (even costume) for loss or damage, sent via Special Delivery. I have had to cover the cost of some losses myself when using other services, which is unfair. | | Q: Why is insurance required for overseas shipping on items valued at over £39.00? | | | A: For packages valued at over £39, there is no compensation for loss or damage - see answer above. For Overseas, precious metals such as silver are not automatically covered by insurance, so insurance should be chosen. If you do not choose insurance, the item will be sent at your own risk, and I will not be able to replace or refund your money. | | Q: If I need to pay by cheque (UK only) where do I send it? | | | A: My address is 'Korup', Densole Lane, Densole, Nr Folkestone, Kent CT18 7BL. | | Q: Why do you only accept Paypal from overseas buyers? | | | A: UK banks will not accept International Orders and similar methods of payment from overseas banks. | | Q: I have signed up for the weekly Newsletter, but mine did not arrive. Why? | | | A: I have scheduled Newsletters to be sent every Monday. However, sometimes Ebay does not send them. I have tried to rectify this but Ebay insists they are always sent! Please contact Ebay if yours does not arrive. |
