MAKING A CONTRACT WITH US
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order, this will take to form of an EBAY generated notification saying that your order has been successful.
Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods then we will email you again to confirm that we accept your order, this will take the form of an invoice detailing the items details and postage. This invoice will confirm that we accept your order and that a contract has been made between us. We will not request payment from you until we have accepted the order.
In the unlikely event of the goods no longer being available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, then we will advise you of this. You will not receive an invoice confirming the acceptance of the order and there will be no contact between us.
HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
Orders will be accepted via EBAYs standard operating procedures. Alternatively, please contact us direct should you require items that are not currently listed, but that maybe available from our inventory. Though we are predominantly an EBAY company we do occasionally supply items from inventory that are not listed, in this case an invoice will be provided as confirmation of the contract between us.
DELIVERY
You will find alongside every listed item in EBAY a statement of postage and packaging costs. We make a small charge for packaging of around £0.50 per parcel. This is used to provide good quality packaging materials to ensure the safe delivery of all items. We pride ourselves in the robust nature of our parcelling. For the delivery of all items up to 2 kilos we always use the Royal mail and for items that are heavier or those being delivered outside the UK we often use a carrier. Charges are calculated using the Website listings of www.royalmail.com or parcels using www.parcel2go.com. Should you require an overseas postal estimate then please contact us before the sale ends or use the stated websites.
We do have a published postal policy that states ‘all parcels will be posted on the weekend following the closure of a sale’. In practice we actually post 2 two or more times a week, this should mean that item will arrive within 5 days of the sale ending and payment being received. We would however ask that you be mindful of our actual policy on this matter.
Should you be concerned that any item is lost in transit or in the unlikely event that an item is damaged in transit then please contact us by the above stated means.
We would appreciate a prompt contact should you have any concerns.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS
This policy does not apply to the following goods, which are exempt from the right to cancel:
‘Any item that is genuinely listed for sale in an auction, even though it may possibly only have attracted a single bid is exempt from these terms and conditions.’
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail us or write to us.
You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal right – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
FAULTY GOODS
If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with you legal rights.
