CHG-MERIDIAN UK TERMS AND CONDITIONS    

These terms and conditions apply to products available in the CHG-MERIDIAN UK EBay Store website.  

Prices, Shipping Charges and Payment

·         The price you pay for the winning bid or the “BUY IT NOW” price includes VAT but does not include delivery charges.

·         If you win the auction, you will immediately receive an e-mail indicating the payment instructions. Please make sure that the e-mail address you have registered on eBay is correct, otherwise we will be unable to contact you.

·         If you have an active Spam-filter please check that our emails have not ended up in a Spam or junk mail folder.

·         Delivery costs are specified in the item description.  CHG-MERIDIAN UK can only deliver products to UK mainland destinations. Items are shipped daily and most UK orders arrive within 24-72 hours of your order being placed.

·         We will only accept payment via PayPal or by cheque.  All cheques will be cleared before items  are dispatched.  Please allow 7 days for clearance.

·         All auctions and "BUY IT NOW" purchases must complete the checkout process within 7 days to:

o    avoid the item being relisted

o    avoid an unpaid item strike from eBay

o    avoid negative feedback being left on your account

o    avoid any legal actions as a result of breaking this contract to purchase the product

·         please remember that by bidding you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item. If you do not pay after winning an auction or the item was purchased in error, we reserve the right to charge a £10 cancellation fee as a contribution to our costs and time

Title and Risk of Loss

·         Title to hardware products passes to you upon the later of full payment or delivery of products. Risk of loss and damage pass to you upon delivery

·         You are responsible for deciding on the suitability of the goods offered and by placing your order and/or bid you are acknowledging the products as being suitable for your requirements.

·         Many of the photographs used are library images and we are not responsible for any colour differences or style updates. We will send you the specification as advertised in the product description.

Returns policy

·         If you are not happy with the item for whatever reason, you may return it for a refund within the first 7 days of purchase.

·         Refunds are less the cost of delivery and the EBay listing fees.

·         Before returning any item you must first request an RMA (Returned merchandise authorization) and a returns form.

·         All returns must be in original packing and condition with everything received from us including the returns form, invoice, user manual etc.

·         Please note that any items returned but incomplete (including the returns form) will remain unprocessed and will delay any refund or exchange

·         It is your responsibility to make sure the item is safely returned to us. If you wish for us to arrange return transport, then this will also be deducted from the final amount.  

Upon receipt of your item

·         Please check the packaging for any damage.

·         Please inspect the product for any visible signs of damage. If you notice damage or you are unsure, you must sign for as 'damaged' or 'unchecked'. If this is not noted we are not able to claim from the courier company and you, the buyer, have accepted the product

How to return faulty item? 

·         You may reject an item as defective or inoperable at the time of delivery within 7 days from purchase

- describe your problem if item is broken and you can send photographic evidence
- you will receive return number and you must return the product within 7days from delivery.

·         If the returned item is found to be working correctly we will charge you for collection of the item and for shipping back to you if needed.

·         It is your responsibility to ensure any item(s) authorised for return are sufficiently packaged. Where delivery back to us is your responsibility, we strongly recommend adequate insurance is in place.

Protection of Personal Data

·         You agree that any personally identifiable information you provide to us in connection with the CHG-MERIDIAN UK Store may be dealt with by CHG-MERIDIAN UK in accordance with the terms specified in the CHG-MERIDIAN Privacy Statement available at the bottom of the CHG-MERIDIAN.com web pages.

Other applicable terms

·         Sales are governed by English law.

·         If you are purchasing as a consumer you may have additional rights under your consumer laws, which provide you with other remedies and to the extent that these Terms or CHG-MERIDIAN UK's limited warranty are inconsistent with English law each shall be deemed modified.
