Returns:

 

Please refer to our Terms and Conditions of Sale for further information on how to make a return.  Please ensure that all returns are sent via a trackable delivery service.

Aim:

Our aim is to provide you with a simple and easy purchase which complements the excellent goods you have ordered at the best prices available both on and off ebay.

Therefore, we do our utmost to minimise the Terms and Conditions connected with the sale, but we do have to ensure that the interests of both the buyer and seller are protected throughout the transaction.

Bids:

If you bid on one of the Open Auctions we run then we do expect you to honour the bid as you may have outbid another ebay member and thus deprived them of the opportunity to buy the product.  Therefore, if you bid on one of these listings and do not complete the purchase we will have to report the matter to ebay which will result in an unpaid strike and negative feedback.

Buy it Now:

If you order from one of our Buy it Now Auctions we still expect you to complete the purchase.  However, as these listing will normally have a number of items availabe it is unlikely that your purchase has deprived another ebay member the opportunity of buying a similar item and so if you wish to cancel or amend your order within 24hrs then we will be happy to assist, but reserve the right to apply an administrative charge. 

Notwithstanding this, we ask that any purchases made in error or requests to change the order be advised within 24hrs of the order.  After that we consider the purchase to be binding and so if you do not complete the purchase we will have to report the matter to ebay which will result in an unpaid strike and negative feedback.

Payment:

We accept payment by paypal, cheque or postal order.  However, if you would prefer to pay directly over the phone with a debit or credit card we will be happy to call you back and take the details. 

We ask that all orders be paid for (or payment sent) within 7 days of the purchase.

Stock:

All items that we list are either in stock at the time of listing or have a reliable supply route.  In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock and cannot be brought back into stock within a reasonable period of time then we will offer you an immediate refund or alternative goods.  The key throughout will be communication and we will do our best to keep in close contact with you.

Delivery:

The majority of orders are dispatched by courier and we aim to have 95% of all goods dispatched within 5 working days of cleared funds being received.  There will always be a few orders that for a variety of reasons fall outside of this timescale and we will work with you to overcome such problems. 

For those goods that are sent by the Royal Mail we ask that you allow 7 working days.  Notwithstanding this, you will note from our feedback that many goods are with the buyer within 3 working days and some the very next day!

Whilst there are many things that we can control and no doubt some that we could do better (we are always looking at ways to improve our processes) once the goods are handed to a third party for delivery we are very much in their hands.  Therefore, should a delivery problem arise we will work with you to resolve it.

Please note that couriers do not call ahead before delivering and cannot normally be booked for a particular time* and they will also not leave your goods without a signature, so please take this into consideration.  They will, however, leave a card if you have missed a delivery and you can call them to make alternative arrangements.

* The courier delivers between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.  If you require a timed delivery or a Saturday delivery then please enquire first as there will be a surcharge for this service.

There is also a surcharge for deliveries outside Mainland UK so again please enquire before buying.

Please note that couriers will only attempt to deliver an order twice and should leave a card after each attempt which requests that you contact them to rearrange redelivery.  After 2 attempts the goods are held at the local depot for a few days for your collection and then returned to sender and a non-delivery surcharge applied.  If this occurs then we will not be able to resend your goods until the surcharge has been paid. 

Therefore, please ensure that we have the best weekday delivery address for you and respond to any cards received from the courier.

Please do not book an electrician before receipt of your goods as we cannot guarantee delivery for a particular time or day as there are too many variables.  We do not accept any costs incurred for appointments you may have to cancel.

Damages:

No matter how well we package orders and the care that the courier takes there will always be the occasional item that is damaged in transit. 

All goods are insured, but to claim against this any damages upon receipt, shortfalls in your order or other non-warranty problems must be reported within 7 days of receipt.  Wherever possible please try to notify us of any damage the same day as delivery as this will help to expedite the claims process and your replacement.

Therefore, please check your goods carefully upon receipt because any damages or shotfalls reported after 7 days cannot be accepted.

Once you have reported the damage (please note that we may request a photo of the item in question so we can expedite the replacement process) we will make the necessary arrangements to have the damaged item collected (or confirm disposal arrangements with you) and a free of charge replacement delivered (or where more appropriate the damaged part replaced).

Cancelled orders must be returned by your own arrangements.

Returns:

As this sale is over the internet you have a 7 day cooling off period with which you may decide to return the goods received for any reason so long as they have not be installed and are returned in their original condition.  Requests to return a purchase must be made via the ebay messanging system within 7 days of delivery and all returns must be sent via a trackable and insured means of delivery.  Please note that if you decide that you do want to cancel your order for any reason then the responsibility and cost of returning the item rests with you, but as soon as the item is returned to us via a trackable means we will process a refund for the cost of the goods within 10 days.  Please note that we reserve the right to apply a handling fee for any goods returned and orders cancelled. 

In particular, cancelled orders for Chandaliers attract a 20% handling fee due to the nature of the products, so please check before you buy. 

Any goods that are reported as faulty within the warranty period will be replaced free of charge on safe return to us of the item in question.  Non-warranty returns cannot be accepted after 7 days of delivery and we reserve the right to test all warranty returns before replacing the item. 

Specifications:

We list all of our products as accurately as possibe, but with so many different listings and manufacturers that subtly upgrading their products throughout the year there maybe a few occasions when what you receive is not 100% as described (but the difference will always be minimal and beyond our control).  On such occasions we will always accept the return of the goods, refund your payment in full and update the listing accordingly. 

The dimensions we quote are based on the information provided to us by the manufacturers but on occasions these can be inaccurate (particularly if the fitting has been remodeled) and so we recommend that you do not cut holes etc until you are in receipt of the lights and physically checked the dimensions.  Please note that we do not accept any costs related to installation whether based on the dimensions quoted or not.

After Sales:

Your order is just as important to us after you have received the goods as the day you ordered them as our continued success and future growth relies very much upon repeat custom and personal recommendations. 

Therefore, if there is a problem please contact us directly and without delay so that we can help.  Whilst we may not be able to resolve the issue instantly, we will do everything reasonably possible to find an amicable outcome. 

We insist that all communications are conducted in a respectful manner - we will not reply to rude or offensive message as our staff have the right not to respond to such correspondence. 

If you wish to return an item because it did not meet with your full satisfaction then please request a Returns Form within 7 days of receipt. 

Feedback:

Like any dedicated and professional business seller on ebay we value our feedback and thus request that before you consider leaving any feedback other than positive that you contact us first so we can review the matter and ensure that we have taken every possible step to fulfil your order and resolve any issues that may have arisen.  Inappropriate feedback will be responded to in-kind and buyers blocked from buying from us again.

However, we find that the vast majority of ebayers understand the importance of the feedback system for both buyers and sellers and are reasonable people who recognise our high level of customer service.
