Many of our lip bars are available in different bar lengths. The standard is 8mm, but we also offer 6mm and 10mm. This will be stated in the relevent listings and unless we hear from you a standard 8mm will be sent.

However we can send the lip bar with a 6mm, 8mm or 10mm bar and if you require us to do this then please add a message when checking out to state the size you require - or you could send an email through the Ebay messaging system.

Generally for piercings above or below the lip which sit at the side an 8mm bar length is required. If it is a new piercing then a 10mm may be required - although it is important not to change it until your piercer says so. Of course there are variations and some people will require a 6mm or a 10mm bar.

For piercings below the lip at the centre, quite often longer bars are needed so either an 8mm or 10mm is mainly used.

Our tongue bars are also available in different bar lengths. The standard is 16mm, but we also offer 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 19mm and 22mm. This will be stated in the relevent listings and unless we hear from you a standard 16mm will be sent.

However we can send the tongue bar with a 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 19mm or 22mm bar, and if you require us to do this then please add a message when checking out to state the size you require - or you could send an email through the Ebay messaging system.

New piercings are generally pierced with 22mm bars to allow for swelling, and then after a couple of weeks it is changed for a smaller 19mm bar - usually by the piercer. After a while the piercing will normally settle to a 16mm. However this does depend person to person, and also upon whereabouts in the tongue the piercing sits. In our experience people can need anything from a 10mm bar to a 19mm bar throughout the life of their piercing. It is important not to have a bar which is too small as swelling occurs at night and to find one end of your tongue bar enbedded in your tongue and closed up is not fun!!

New eyebrow piercings generally need a longer length bar, and quite often this will reduce throughout the life of the piercing. So you may start off with a 10mm and then a few years later need a 6mm. This is due to eyebrow piercings tending to grow out in time.
