"OUR HISTORY"

Beckfield Nurseries came into being nearly 40 years ago and started life in the form of Farm Gate Sales.  The Tasker family have farmed in Brant Broughton for over 70 years and Andy started growing plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables alongside the farm.  Together with his father they gradually built up the nursery which Andy worked on during his off duty time as a Fire Fighter.

"OUR PRESENT"

At the end of March 2005 Andy retired from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service after 30 years service.  As he now has the time he is developing the Nursery and Farm Shop and in addition, taking advantage of modern technology and joining the ever-increasing world of internet sales.  The Nursery and Farmshop is open from Thursday to Saturday incl. allowing Sunday to Wednesday for market and auction trips and also a bit of R&R.

"OUR FUTURE"

Our aim is to continue to operate in much the same way as present - providing good quality plants, bulbs, flowers, fruit, veg. and sundries at competitive prices whilst maintaining a hands-on family run approach.
