My ebay shop went from strength to strength since start up in 2006, I reached the dizzy heights of Gold Powerseller in a short time selling a handpicked range of autumn/winter/spring/summer coats, jackets, capes, macs - at affordable prices and low p&p. I could not have done it without you - some buyers came back again and again and recommended me to their family and friends, how great is that, thanks a million. My motto is if I like it enough to wear it myself then I can sell it! I won't do old tat or poorly made gear. I do get nice emails about my stock and service (keep them coming thanks) which puts a smile on my face especially when am up to my eyes in packages with 10 minutes left to get to the Post Office thinking is it all worth it. I'm still in business so I must be doing something right!
I sometimes sell good quality used designer items (when I have a chance to have a clear out) from my own family, I never knowingly pass something off as genuine if I am in doubt as to its origin.
We'd all like to dress in top designer clobber but reality is most of us can only afford high street labels, that doesn't mean sacrificing style. Wearing the same old coat year after year, I've done that too! Can't bear to throw out your favourite jacket but not worn it for donkey's years? Have a clear out, sell your old stuff on ebay and use the cash to bring yourself uptodate. Your favourite styles are probably still around: designers constantly revamp the old classic styles we grew up with to bring them bang uptodate. We all save hours trudging around the shops buying online, its not that big a deal anymore is it?. I know I'd rather spend time doing something I like (rather than shopping..!) Petrol and parking is enough to keep shopping for special occasions for some of us. My descriptions are as honest as I can make them and as detailed as possible. The photos have got much better, most are professionally taken, although I still put a few of my own on if necessary. My feedback is good and has been since I started on ebay which shows I can be trusted. My 100% score only took a slight dip when the new feedback rules were brought in earlier this year (2008) because of buyers who do not like paying postage (bit unfair but those are the rules now).
Quality control is very important, each garment is checked over before despatch. My stock is new (not seconds) and direct from trusted designer-manufacturers who produce high quality garments sold in top retail outlets at higher prices. Wholesale/bulk orders are welcome.
I try to stock a wide range of sizes sometimes from UK6 but usually UK10 to 22 Plus sizes. Some sizes are much more popular than others and sell out quickly so some sizes are missing towards the end of the winter season. If you don't see the size you need, please email me, it might be in stock but just not listed.
Most questions can be answered by reading through the shop pages and FAQs but please email from within the ebay mailbox if you need any further advice allowing 2 working days for your email to be dealt with (re-sending email after 2 working days just in case a technical IT problem prevented it arriving).
Its important to check your measurements against those given for the item in the listing and take note of the fitting advice. Its not the end of the world if you do have to return it for another size and it doesn't cost a fortune but no-one wants the hassle involved. Even more so for International buyers who could end up paying more than what the coat cost! I try to give accurate fitting advice but IF YOU ARE NOT STANDARD SIZE, I recommend taking a coat or jacket that fits you well and using those measurements. Measuring the relevant points e.g. length (from nape neck to hemline), bust (from underneath one armpit across to the other), arms (from top outer seam to sleeve hem) to see if the item in my shop is same or very close. Don't be put off buying clothes online just because you can't try them on especially if you can walk into store and buy your size off the peg without trouble, its no different buying online, its the same items and sizes after all.
If you like my items don't forget to sign up to the Newsletter, I promise not to bombard you with unnecessary emails.
