We are regularly asked about certifing products for sale in the UK. Our advice has always been the same, you MUST have a safety assessment for everything that you make to sell. Any person wishing to sell their soaps to the public, even when using a pre-prepared base, does need a 'certificate' (safety assessment) to state that the product has been tested and meets required standards. This legislation also requires the full preparation of a product file which should contain all information regarding manufacturing method, ingredients, MSDS for all ingredients etc. This file should be kept available for view by anyone requesting. We have now teamed up with a Chartered Scientist,Chartered Chemist & Safety Assessor to offer a complete safety assessment package exclusively to our Customers, everything from soap to bath bombs and lip balms. In order to provide you with our safety assessment we require following information by email
1. Your Name and Address
2. Your Trading Name and Address (if you have one)
3. Confirmation that you use a good manufatcuring process.
- "I comfirm that my products are made according to UK GMP guidelines" in your email is sufficient, These can be purchased from our stores directly if you are unsure as to what to write or how to complete.
