Q. Do you combine postage ?

A. Yes, where we can combine postage and make a saving we will pass this saving on to you but this can only be done prior to making payment so please request a total before checking out.

Q. Do you ship outside of the UK

A. Yes. Many of the item we sell can be shipped internationally but price varies enormously depending on weight and destination so please check with us before making a purchase.

Q. I work for a school/nursery and any items we use have to meet safety standards. Do your products meet these standards

A. Yes. All of the items we offer a made to meet or exceed the standards for toy safety and are OK for use in schools and other educational settings.

Q. Are you VAT registered and if so can we claim back the VAT.

A. Yes and possibly. We are VAT registered and the listing price includes VAT at the current rate. When the goods are shipped a VAT invoice will be included if requested. If you have purchased the items on behalf of a VAT registered setting you should be able to reclaim the VAT in the normal way.

Q. I am buying from a country outside of the EU. Can I purchase the item VAT free.

A. Technically yes but as the vendor we need to keep full records of each transaction and be able to prove beyond doubt to HM Revenue and Customs that the goods were exported and delivered to a Country outside of the EU. The administration charge we would need to levy to cover the cost of providing acceptable proof would be greater than the saving made on VAT. Please also note that we are not responsible for any import duties or charges in the destination Country.

Q. I have received my item but the amount I was charged for P&P was higher than the value of the stamp. Why is this?

A. We are a business and need to cover our costs. We make a nominal charge from £0.20 per item to cover the cost of labour to pick and pack the items and packing materials. To this we add the incremental postage cost and VAT (which we are obliged to charge)
