Frequently Asked Questions
Q:When can I expect my order to arrive?
A:To keep costs down we will often send our goods on economy services, which are generally 2 - 4 day service. However, smaller items may take a little longer, depending upon the distance your package has to travel. Be patient, to get faster deliveries would mean higher prices. JUST LOOK AT OUR FEEDBACK!!!
Q:Do you combine shipping?
A:Yes! We can often give a discount automatically on our shop listings when purchasing more than 1 item. If you are unsure simply get in touch as we will always try to give the best possible value to our customers. REMEMBER - WE DO NOT PROFIT FROM OUR DELIVERY CHARGES - THE POSTAGE AND PACKAGING COSTS THAT WE PAY ARE THE MOST YOU WILL EVER PAY.
Q:Do you allow collections?
A:Yes - and collection is of course free! We are a business and are only open during normal office hours of 8.00am - 5.00pm. Collection be be arranged once you have placed your order and let us know when you are coming.
Q:When do you dispatch?
A:We ship your item at the very latest on the next working day, but often your item will be shipped on the same day during the week. (Please note Friday orders may often not be dispatched until Monday morning)
Q:Do you ship internationally?
A:Quick answer - NO! However if you require large amounts of any particular product, don't be afraid to ask. What's the worst we can say?
Q:Are you open during Christmas?
A:No. Whilst our online store is always open, and you are free to make purchases, we will not be able to despatch your goods until we return. (please note this is similar during Easter and Bank holidays)
Q:What size products do you offer?
A:Currently we offer a small range of products and sizes online, however are an industrial supplier and can supply in containers as large as 1000 litres if necessary. Generally for the more popular items, the sizes available are listed.
Q:I have not received my order - what do I do?
A:When delivery cannot be made at the address given, a card will be left with instructions on regarding what to do next. Items are held for up to 2 weeks at the depot and then returned to us. Uncollected goods can be re-delivered at cost or a refund offered on goods, original postage will NOT be refunded in these cases!
Q:Where should I get my order sent?
A:Remember - ALWAYS supply an address that you or someone else for you can accept delivery at! Cards are always left when a delivery cannot be made, but it's obviously easier and quicker if you supply an address where delivery can be accepted 1st time!
Q:WHOOPS - I have made a mistake with my order - what now?
A:Mistakes cannot be rectified if your item has been shipped already, so if you have made an error, the best thing to do is get in touch as soon as possible. Please check that your address is correct as it has happened before where people have moved house and not changed their eBay details!
Q:I would like to make an offer, is that possible?
A:Generally, products available for offers are marked on the listing with "Make me an offer". As we operate in normal office hours, offers made on a weekend will usually not be answered before the offer expires.
Q:Is there any other information you require with my payment?
A:Some of the couriers we use insist upon having a contact telephone number with the package. If the delivery address you have supplied is not a business address, please ensure that an appropriate telephone number is given to avoid possible delays in despatching your item.
Q:What purity are your products?
A:Our raw material products are as pure as available unless specified with the listing or item title. Questions regarding the purity are generally not answered due to the amount of them! Please note a pure product can be 98/99%, but commercially never 100% - beware incorrect information - we are industrial chemists and we only use the best available.
Q:What methods of payment do you accept?
A:The best payment method is by paypal (please avoid using e-cheque payments!), however we do accept cheque and postal order. Be aware that despatch can only be made upon cleared payment.
Q:I have sent a cheque but not received my goods.
A:Cheque payments are obviously the slowest way to get your item. As a business we prefer to receive your payment via Paypal, however not everyone wishes to make these sorts of payments. Whilst we still accept cheques there will always be a delay in sending your item whilst waiting for cheques to clear - if in ANY doubt, send a postal order!
